OOC Name:Jar Years RP'ing: 3-4 Where did you find us?: Counteh's dA artistic thingamabob. Yo mama jokes: don't work on spock
Character name: Czarina Gossamer Tel'Nair Character Age: 17 Character Gender: Female Race: Human Rank (if applicable): Ensign Ship: Enterprise Division: Sciences/Medical Brief Description: Calm, cool, collected. Best one to be around in a high anxiety situation as she keeps her cool. Has a temper, and can be quite easily angered, but leave her alone and she'll be the happiest camper around. With long black hair the color of polished onyx and eyes the color of jade, she was always considered very pretty in her hometown. She is tall, with a strong and well muscled body. She doesn't wear makeup or spend hours on her hair. She brushes it into place, puts it up in a ponytail and is done with it. She's very clean but doesn't mind getting down and dirty, covered in grease or whatever else you might find coming off the ship. She's often the one you gotta worry about Sample post (may be recycled):
The wind was harsh, blowing the unseasonably cool air through the drooping tendrils of the Weeping Willow. Pregnant stormclouds loomed overhead, their billowing onyx mass stretching on for as far as the eye could see. It was dim below the thunderhead, and a thick layer of fog had settled in, sheltering the creatures below in a comfortable sea of grey. It made it easier for creatures such as the mare to hide.
She was white, with silvery grey patches all across her body. A beautiful Gypsy Vanner mare. The feathering that reached from her knees settled gracefully over her hooves and she had a long thick mane that fell well past the end of her neck. Her tail too was long, trailing just above the ground. She was strong, muscles like steel beneath her flesh. But her environment was a harsh one. She was well suited to such accomodations, able to keep her strength up easily. While other horses would only eat the bare scrub grass that grew here she would add other things to her diet. Edible Mushrooms, wild oats and barley, whatever she could find to eat around here.
She was beneath the boughs of the willow, bracing herself for the oncoming storm. It was going to be a bad one, as the coal black clouds had taken on a green tint. The birds had forsaken their trees, heading south away from the storm. They knew that if they stayed in their lofty abodes that they could very well perish. Rabbits went and left their burrows, everything it seemed was headed for high ground. The mare didn't think there was a possibilty of a flood but instincts know best.
Gaelica raised her muzzle to the wind, breathing in the scents of the plains. A trio of young fox skittered around her hooves, waiting for their mother. Finally they caught sight of a copper flash and the young red fox bolted, all scurrying in a clumsy rush. She smiled and flicked her tail across her rump, watching what little animals were left scurry into the treeline. She kept her ears pricked, listening intently for the sound of approaching hoofbeats. She knew they wouldn't see her straight off because of the heavy fog but if they got close enough they'd see her outline and then she could only hope to flee, praying her silver and white skin would make her look like a ghost in the mist. Welcome to the Spirit of Starfleet, Jar! Always great to have a new member. "Czarina" is a very interesting name...for a moment, I thought we had a character who's Russian royalty! Other than that, a really fabulous audition. Remember, though, that as an enlisted crewman, she is required to be very respectful and formal with officers (just the way it is in any military, I'm afraid). Approved! ^.^
